What is a DiamondSkin crystal-free Microdermabrasion?

It is a gentle, non-surgical, non-invasive treatment to exfoliate the outermostlayer of skin, composed of dead cells. This is done with the use of a fine diamond tip wand while at the same time vacuuming the dead skin cells away in a controlled manner. Polishing this outer layer of skin cells away, leaves a smoother texture and promotes the growth of healthy new cells. An Oxygen Facial is included with every treatment. This provides a very soothing and therapeutic effect as well as helping to speed up collagen production.

What steps are involved?

  1. Your skin is cleansed.
  2. Your skin is gently exfoliated by polishing he dead skin cells away.
  3. A mask appropriate to your type of skin is applied along with cooling eye pads and you relax listening to music.
  4. An oxygen facial is always part of the treatment.
  5. Before you leave a moisturizer / sunscreen is applied to you

Do’s and Don’ts

  • Retin A and aggressive skincare products should be stopped two to. three days before and after.
  • Botox can be done right after.
  • Filler- suggested to wait two weeks after getting a filler done.
  • Pregnancy is not a problem.
  • Do wear sunscreen daily.
  • Avoid full face make-up immediately after your treatment (lip stick and eye make-up are okay).
