The Titan Procedure ( Skin Tightness with an infrared Light) How does The Cutera Titan System Work? Titan utilizes a safe infrared light to heat the dermis and tighten collagen well bellow the skin’s surface. During the procedure, the skin’s top surface (epidermis) is protected through continuous cooling with the Titan handpiece. The Titan difference Titan’s light-based platform provides a more uniform distribution of energy for heating the deep dermis than other energy sources, such as RF (radio frequency). After 2 to 3 treatments the collagen has been tightened and the over lying skin appears smoother. When this is done in combination with laser genesis and or photogenesis there is also an improvement in skin redness, brown spots, pore size and skin texture.
